Job Title: Professional Land Manager
Description:
Nandina, Inc. is accepting resumes for the position of Land Survey Manager to lead our Hilton Head Island survey department and manage projects in the Beaufort County/Hilton Head area of South Carolina. This will include managing our survey team in a new growth phase.
Qualifications & Skills:
Minimum of Five (5) years professional experience post registration as a Professional Land Surveyor
Professional Land Surveyor Registered in South Carolina
Significant and broad survey experience as well as in depth knowledge of modern survey equipment and software.
Team leadership experience.
Good exposure to GIS, CAD, and aerial surveys.
To include experience in but not limited to; topographic, boundary, and ALTA surveys, As-Builts, platting and construction layouts, Metes and Bounds Descriptions.
Knowledge in use of GPS and electronic data collectors and monitors.
Entrepreneurial and growth-oriented mindset
Satisfactory driving record and current license.
Responsibilities:
Day to day coordination of work and supervision of the survey staff and field crews.
Prepare scopes of work and estimates for survey projects.
Provide technical expertise and leadership in the project definition and planning phases.
Perform field surveys as necessary
Ensure adherence to government and client requirements and professional standards.
Review and perform quality control of final deliverables.
Manage development of project quality control and quality assurance processes as they relate to ground surveys.
Develop and document standard survey practices
Identify and cultivate new clients.
Identify and introduce new technologies, techniques, and markets to increase the income of the ground survey department.
Ensure that the Department is always staffed with the correct mix of skills and number of staff to execute expected work
Collaborate with internal engineering staff
